Double gable loft extension

We also have twin gable ends and would like to do a loft extension, but to a higher single gable end.

Have you proceeded in your extension work, and if so what problems did you incur?

We have done this type of work before; it has been more of an issue with the planners rather than through Building Control.

The modification to the roof will require the input of an engineer in order to undertake these remodelling works.
